Seperti yang ada sedia maklum, sempena dengan tahun Melawat Malaysia 2014, saya akan menyenaraikan info-info dan tempat perlancongan yang menarik yang ada di setiap negeri di Malaysia & sebelum ini saya menyenaraikan tempat perlancongan yang menarik di Perak, Pahang, Pulau Pinang, Kedah dan Perlis, Negeri Sembilan dan Sabah anda boleh klik link di bawah untuk membaca entry terdahulu.
Negeri Sarawak antara negeri yang terbesar di Malaysia, negeri yang kaya dengan khazanah alam semula jadi, Negeri di Malaysia yang mempunyai Paling banyak Taman Negara seperti Mulu Caves National Park, Niah National Park, Gunung Gading National Park, Batang Ai National Park dan lain-lain. Jadi untuk entry kali ini saya menyenaraikan kawasan-kawasan perlancongan lain yang menarik untuk dilawati sekiranya anda datang ke Negeri Sarawak, jadi jom lihat senarai di bawah :P List Of Interesting Places In Negeri Sarawak, Malaysia Senarai Kawasan Perlancongan Yang Menarik Di Negeri Sarawak, Malaysia  Taman Negara Gunung Mulu / Mulu Caves National Park Mulu Caves National Park is home to one of the longest networks of caves in the world. Here lies the worlds largest underground chamber, the Sarawak Chamber, capable of accommodating forty Boeing 747 airplanes. In Mulu, you will also find one of the worlds biggest cave passage, Deer Cave, which can fit five cathedrals the size of Saint Pauls in London. Another key attraction is Clear Water Cave, the longest cave in Southeast Asia. The massive caves here are home to millions of bats and cave swiftlets that swarm out into the jungle in great clouds every evening at dusk! The outdoorsy type will be pleasantly surprised by some of the best examples of tropical limestone weathering in the world, including enormous razor-sharp pinnacles, deep-cut canyons, appropriately named The Pinnacles. There are tough but rewarding multi-day hikes available from the resort. A guide and porter are recommended  Niah National Park / Taman Negara Niah Niah National Park the scenery is spectacular and breathtaking . The area is a center of human settlement as early as 40,000 years ago , and has one of the largest cave entrance in the world, the Paleolithic and Neolithic cemeteries and wood carvings, frescoes iron-age . Cave paintings are situated near the house wall paintings that tell a boat trip off the head of life after death , including the remnants of the wreckage "death ships" that are scattered on the floor of the cave - boat-shaped coffins (its contents were transferred to the Sarawak Museum ) . The surrounding area is also decorated by thick forest and is home to many species of plants and wildlife. Until now , the caves remain as an important place for people from the local community , such as birds' nests and guano collection to be important for their economic resources . Niah Caves is a very pleasant place if you want to stay here a few days, although some of the major attractions are open during the day for visitors. Niah National Park is located in Sungai Niah , about 3 km from the small town of Batu Niah , Miri 110km southwest . The park has a visitor center and a nice stay , and very easy to walk around it in the presence of plankwalk network throughout the park . A pair of good walking shoes and a flashlight are essential items that should be taken  Gunung Gading National Park / Taman Negara Gunung Gading Gunung Gading is home to the world's largest flower, the rafflesia, which can grow up to one metre in diameter. When in bloom the flower gives off a nasty smell which attracts flies and other insects. The rafflesia has no specific season but the rainy season provides better blooming frequencies. It takes nine months to mature and flowering lasts only 4 or 5 days before dying. Seeing a blooming rafflesia is certainly the highlight of a trip to Gunung Gading, but the Park and the whole Lundu area are well worth visiting anyway. The rugged mountain peaks that make up the Park provide a scenic backdrop to the nearby town of Lundu, and the nearby beaches at Pandan and Siar. Gunung Gading also has some enjoyable walks and a challenging jungle trek  Lampir Hill National Park / Taman Negara Bukit Lampir The Lampir Hill National Park is located along the Miri-Bintulu road, about 30km south of Miri Town. With area about 6,952 hectares, it was gazetted and opened to public on 1975. The park is consists of the central portion of the Lambir Hills, a rugged east-west trending sandstone escarpment with a maximum height of 465 meters, has an outstanding regional and global conservation significance for its extraordinary species-rich forest which is ideal for botanist and researchers throughout the world. 1,050 different species of tree out of 7,000 total species and over 1,000 species of insect life are found within the small sample area of 52ha. The park covered with more than half of the area with rich natural mixed Dipterocarp forest, where huge, tall Dipterocarp trees such as Kapur, Meranti, Kempas and Selangan Batu. Shorter trees like Rhu Bukit, Selunsur Bukit, low shrubs, pitcher plants and orchids are found in the Kerangas forest. Apart from the various tree species, the park is very rich in other plant species such as ferns, gingers, vines, palms, mushrooms, moss and lichen, flowering and fruiting shrub trees, climbers and creepers. The fungi of Lampir hill are numerous and remarkable, this including the phosphorescent (illuminate) species that glows in the dark. Animals like bats, monkeys, pangolins and barking deer are those found as well and more than 150 species of birds have been recorded.  Batang Ai National Park / Taman Negara Batang Ai Batang Ai National Park is located in the Sri Aman Division of Sarawak, in eastern Malaysia on the island of Borneo. It is located in Lubok Antu, some 250 kilometers east of Kuching. The Park is located at Sarawak about 250km from Kuching City with a covering area of 24,040 hectares of rainforest and the artificial lake. The lake is also the Sarawak's only artificial lake, which stretches up to Skrang, Lemanak, Engkari and Ai Valleys. The artificial lake now acts as a water dam that feed to the Batang Ai Hydro Electric Complex to generate the electricity for Sarawak's use. Batang Ai National Park was gazetted as a protected area in early 1991. Visitors can take a boat ride upriver from the dam, about an hour's of boat ride to see beautiful lowland mixed dipterocarp forest, with drooping trees overhanging the rivers. The rivers are fast flowing, clear and very refreshing. The water level gets quite low during the dry seasons where visitors normally have to help push their boats upstream. Here, the main mode of communication is river transport. The park is home to many protected species like the Orang Utan, hornbills and gibbons. Other major attraction upriver is the Iban longhouse. This longhouse gives the authentic atmosphere as most of the longhouse dwellers still practise their traditional lifestyle. The Ibans produce local handicrafts, like their 'Pua Kumbu', rattan backpacks 'selabit', rattan mats and even gourd for collecting water. Please note that, if you are staying in Iban longhouse, you need to be aware of local Iban customs so as not to offend anybody. Bako National Park / Taman Negara Bako Sarawak's oldest national park was established in 1957, covers a modest 27 sq. km., and is about 37km from Kuching. It's known for its extraordinary natural scenery, habitats, plants and wild life. Its most significant features are secluded coves and rugged rocky headlands with magnificent steep cliffs that overlook the South China Sea. The sea spray, wave action and the wind have also carved out magnificent sea arches and sea stacks at the base of the cliffs, some rearing above the waves like a mighty serpent's head. The attractive sandstone formations appear pink with iron patterns on the cliff. Further inland, waterfalls tumble down into freshwater pools in a tranquil and idyllic jungle setting. Bako contains an incredible variety of plant species and vegetation types, and this is one of the parks great attractions. At Bako it is possible to see almost every type of vegetation found Bako is also home to approximately 275 rare proboscis monkeys, found only in Borneo. The best times for seeing wildlife at Bako are just after dawn and just before dusk, when the animals are at their most active. Bako is a fascinating place for bird watching, as over 150 species have been recorded here. Bakos extensive trail system is made up of 16 colour-coded jungle trails which offer a range of walking and hiking options. The fit and adventurous can opt for full- day jungle hikes or overnight camping expeditions, whilst those who prefer to take it easy can opt for a relaxing forest walk.  Kuching Town / Bandar Kuching Described as one of the most attractive cities in Southeast Asia, Kuching is the State capital. It is a city rich in history, and modern day Kuching is a delightful blend of modern structures and old-world charm. Kuching is divided by the Sarawak River; the south is a commercial residential area, dominated by Chinese, while the north shore is predominantly Malay in character, with old kampong houses lining the river. The two parts of the city are very different in character and even have separate mayors and separate town halls Kuching means 'cat' in Malay and there are a number of suggestions as to how Sarawak's capital acquired the name. Local legend has it that James Brooke (see section on 'history'), pointing towards the settlement across the river, enquired what it was called. Whoever he asked, mistakenly thought he was pointing at a passing cat. If that seems a little far-fetched, the Sarawak Museum offers a few more plausible alternatives, the most likely of which is that the town may have originally have been known as Cochin – port – a word commonly used across India and Indochina.  Sarawak Cultural Village / Perkampungan Budaya Sarawak Known as the 'Living Museum', the Cultural Village was set up to preserve and showcase Sarawak's cultural heritage. Located at Pantai Damai, Santubong, just 32km from the state capital, Kuching, it is the perfect place to get introduced to local culture and lifestyle. Sprawled across 17 acres, there are about 150 people living in the village, demonstrating traditional daily activities from Sarawak's diverse tribes like the processing of sago and the making of handicrafts. They wear traditional costumes and also put on dances for visitors. The village residents provide information on their various traditional cultures and lifestyles. You can see replicas of buildings that represent every major ethnic group in Sarawak; longhouses of the Iban, Bidayuh and Orang Ulu, a Melanau tall-house and a Chinese farm house among others. The village also has a theatre, where you can enjoy multicultural dance performances. Besides this, there is a restaurant and handicraft shop. You can even get married at the Sarawak Cultural Village, in traditional Iban, Malay, Bidayuh or Orang Ulu style. The Iban longhouse has separate rooms placed side by side, all of which open to a long communal hall, used for leisurely activities like wood carving and basket weaving. Guests are often invited to attend nightly ceremonies and drink a potent rice wine, tuak, which the Iban make themselves. Comfortable guesthouses are also available for visitors.  Jong's Crocodile Farm / Taman Buaya Jong's Situated at 18 Miles (29km) Kuching/ Serian Highway, a 20 minute leisure drive from Kuching Town, the capital of Sarawak, Land of Hornbills, boasts one of the largest and the only crocodile breeding farm in the country. Set amidst the charming backdrop of tall tropical trees, lush vegetation and local fruit trees lies this unique farm with over a thousand crocodiles bred in captivity. The farm provides a perfect sanctuary for the reptiles, saving the species from extinction. There are huge and deep concrete ponds and natural breeding grounds for the crocodiles to mate and multiply. Visitors are able to gaze at the snapping jaws, cold menacing eyes, sharp pointed teeth and powerful lashing tails of the crocs within short distance yet safe because of the metal fence. Apart from crocodiles there are also numerous rare species of birds and animals found only in the Borneo Island. Visitors can have the enchanting experience of walking freely among the monkeys, leopard-cats, sunbears, bearcats, pheasants, civets, barking deers, sambar deers, turtles, fruit bats, monitor lizards, pythons and even hornbills.  Bungai Beach / Pantai Bungai Location: Miri, About 1 hour drive from Miri and situated near Kampung Bungai in Bekenu is Bungai Beach. Bungai Beach is popular with beachgoers who appreciate its pristine beach, clear waters, and the beauty of the untouched surroundings. Its relatively secluded and a great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

| Bercuti ke <b>Kuching</b> : Merdeka RoadTrip 2014 (Part 1) ~ CiKGUHAiLMi Posted: 05 Sep 2014 05:59 PM PDT Semenjak bekerja di Sarawak nih, rasanya tak sah kalau saya tak ke Kuching untuk satu tahun tu. Kadang-kadang pasal bawak budak main sofbol, atau ada majlis penyampaian hadiah video dan sebagainya. Paling tidak pun bagi tujuan melawat kawan baik di sana. Tapi trip dengan kereta nih rasanya dah lama tak buat. Geng-geng keras dah habis pindah balik Semenanjung. So kesempatan cuti Merdeka nih, saya dan beberapa rakan sekolah buat roadtrip dari Sibu ke Kuching. Yeah!  Percutian 4 hari 3 malam ke Kuching nih, kami dah rancang dengan baik sebelum pegi. Cikgu Alif dan saya dah buat survey ke beberapa tempat menarik sekitar Kuching. Survey macam masa lawatan, aktiviti yang boleh dilakukan dan jarak. Ini sekadar panduan kepada mereka yang lain, yang pertama kali nak ke Kuching, terutamanya hal yang berkaitan dengan budget. Saya sebelum nih main pakai redah saja. So, sekurang-kurangnya trip kali nih, teratur ler sket. Hari Jumaat (Day 0) Ada 2 kereta sebenarnya dari Sibu. Kereta pertama ada Ustaz Faris sebagai Driver, Cikgu Alif sebagai Tukang Survey, Cikgu Hafiz sebagai Bendahari dan saya sebagai GPS Penunjuk Arah. Senior 8 tahun lah katakan... ;) Kereta satu lagi ada Cikgu Asmadi sebagai driver, Cikgu Byeda, Cikgu Suhaila dan Cikgu Mastura. Kitorang pegi geng2 cikgu jer lah yer. Kereta pertama tu dah start bertolak ke Kuching pada petang Jumaat, sebaik habis Sembahyang Jumaat. Perjalanan mengambil masa hampir 7 jam untuk perjalanan dari Sibu ke Kuching dengan menggunakan kereta. Bagi mereka yang dah biasa dengan jalan di Sarawak nih, rasanya 6 jam pun dah boleh sampai. Tapi disebabkan kami ke Kuching nih atas tujuan nak melancong, so banyak lah sket masa dihabiskan dengan melihat ke sekeliling. Setibanya di Kuching, maka perkara pertama yang perlu dilakukan adalah cari tempat tidur! Plan asal nak stay di Hotel Fata, tapi penuh lah pulak. Maka mencari lah tempat lain. Bagi yang nak ke Kuching, dan tak kisah nak stay di mana, saya cadangkan anda cari hotel-hotel budget sekitar kawasan berhampiran waterfront. Banyak kat sana. Harga pun memang ok. Maka, bermalam lah kami pada malam ini di GW Furama Hotel.  Lepas makan malam, kami ke Kuching Waterfront yang terletak berdekatan dengan hotel menginap. Acara waktu malam dia memang best. Happening! Ada geng-geng pemuzik jalanan dan juga gerai jual cenderamata dan makanan. Jalan-jalan makan angin sambil meninjau keindahan tebing Sungai Sarawak pada waktu malam. Hari Sabtu (Day 1) Awal pagi nih kami dah bangun. Sebab hari nih cadang nak ke Serikin, tempat membeli belah di sempadan Malaysia - Indonesia. Ala-ala macam kat Padang Besar ler. So, kami singgah dulu di kedai breakfast paling best di Kuching, iaitu Kopi O Corner! Ini kedai favourite saya setiap kali ke Kuching. Wajib singgah. Nasi lemak dia memang thorbaek! Selepas breakfast, kami teruskan perjalanan ke Serikin. Jarak dia agak jauh dari bandar Kuching. Rasanya 1 jam setengah juga untuk ke sana. Disebabkan kami bertolak awal, maka kami sampai ke Serikin pun agak awal. Parking kereta masih banyak kosong. Jadi boleh dapatkan tempat yang lebih dekat untuk nak berjalan. Serikin Kat Serikin nih, banyak benda yang anda boleh cari. Tapi yang selalunya orang beli kalau ke Serikin adalah benda yang jarang ada kat tempat lain. Contohnya macam bantal kekabu, tilam, karpet, baju, beg, kain sembahyang. Kalau nak cari barang kraf macam tikar rotan pun banyak.   Tips membeli belah di Serikin nih, survey dulu sepanjang jalan anda ke sana. Dah sampai hujung, patah balik, baru mulakan pembelian anda, selepas dah tahu kedai mana yang jual dengan lebih murah. Boleh tawar menawar dengan peniaga untuk dapatkan harga yang terbaik. Tapi selalunya lebih kurang jer. Kampung Annah Rais Dah habis bershoping di Serikin, kami bergerak ke tempat kedua, iaitu Kampung Annah Rais. Ini adalah kampung Bidayuh yang masih mempunyai rumah panjang. Sebabnya, orang Bidayuh nih dah tak stay di rumah panjang. Kalau tak salah saya hanya ada 2 kampung Bidayuh saja lagi yang masih mengekalkan budaya rumah panjang ni, iaitu satu di Kampung Benuk, dan satu lagi Kampung Annah Rais nih.  Ini bukan kali pertama saya ke rumah panjang. Tapi sebelum nih rumah panjang Iban. Tentulah tak sama dengan rumah panjang Bidayuh. Rumah panjang Bidayuh di Kampung Benuk pun saya dah sampai. So tak sabar pulak nak tengok rumah panjang Kampung Annah Rais nih. Tetamu dikenakan bayaran sebanyak RM8 untuk yuran. Kebetulan pada masa ketibaan kami, ada pulak majlis kahwin yang bakal berlangsung. Maka ramailah sket orang yang ada kat situ.  Beza yang jelas antara rumah panjang Iban dan rumah panjang Bidayuh dah tentulah pada bahan yang digunakan untuk rumah panjang mereka. Orangg Bidayuh menggunakan buluh sebagai bahan utama membina rumah panjang mereka. Ini disebabkan majoriti masyarakat Bidayuh berada di kawasan yang banyak dengan buluh.  Yang menariknya rumah panjang Bidayuh ini adalah kerana mempunyai sebuah rumah khas yang digunakan untuk upacara keagamaan masyarakat Bidayuh dahulu, iaitu Barok. Maka di sini lah para elders akan berkumpul dan menjalankan aktiviti mereka.  Barok juga digunakan sebagai tempat untuk menyimpan tengkorak semasa zaman pemburuan kepala. Zaman penggal kepala musuh. Kalau dalam Bahasa Iban, adat ini dikenali sebagai 'Ngayau', tapi kalau dalam Bahasa Bidayuh dikenali sebagai '  Besar juga kawasan perkampungan Annah Rais nih. Hampir 200 rumah dalam satu kampung, tapi dalam kelompok yang tertentu. Setiap satunya disambungkan dengan struktur khas daripada buluh, yang menjadikan satu rumah panjang. Semenggoh Wildlife Centre Selesai melawat kawasan sekitar Rumah Panjang Annah Rais nih, kami bergerak pulang ke Kuching. Dalam perjalanan pulang, kami singgah dulu ke Semenggoh Wildflife Centre. Di sini, anda boleh saksikan Orang Utan diberi makan.  Menariknya di Semenggoh Wildlife Centre ini, Orang Utan tidak dipelihara di dalam sangkar, sebaliknya dilepaskan bebas di dalam hutan tersebut. Pada waktu diberi makan, iaitu dari jam 9.00 pagi ke 10.00 pagi atau 3.00 petang ke 4.00 petang, seorang petugas akan membuat bunyi bunyian untuk memanggil Orang Utan makan. Kadang-kadang tak keluar Orang Utan. Kadang-kadang keluar, tapi kat tempat lain. Bukan di tempat yang dah disediakan khusus. Trip kali nih tak bernasib baik. Sebabnya kami datang pada musim buah. Bila tiba musim buah, kebanyakkan orang utan yang ada kat sini, tak akan keluar bila dipanggil untuk diberi makan. Sebab dah ada banyak makanan dalam hutan.
So panduan kepada yang nak datang ke Semenggoh Wildflife Centre nih, pastikan anda survey dulu sebelum datang. Sila jangan datang masa musim buah! Sematan, Lundu Sebab tak berpeluang tengok Orang Utan, kami terus bergerak ke suatu lagi tempat menarik yang ada berhampiran Kuching, iaitu Sematan di Lundu. Sematan nih kalau tengok di peta, boleh kata tempat yang paling hujung boleh dicapai untuk pegi dengan kereta ler.  Sebenarnya tak ada apa sangat yang menarik di Sematan. Cuma ada pemandangan matahari terbenam yang sangat cantik! Ditambah dengan binaan jeti untuk bot dan perahu yang diparking di kiri dan kanannya, viewnya sungguh lah menakjubkan. Cer tengok gambar-gambar matahari terbenam di Sematan. Nice!    Rancangan asal lepas feeling-feeling tengok sunset, nak merasa makanan segar laut kat Sematan nih. Tapi nak jadik cerita, black out pula satu kampung tu. So, tak ada kedai makan yang dibuka. Maka kami batalkan rancangan dan terus menghala balik ke Kuching. Seterusnya aktiviti biasa-biasa berjalan di sekitar bandar Kuching. Sesi malam lebih rileks sebab taknak pulon berjalan sampai tak larat nak bangun plak nanti. | Bercuti ke <b>Kuching</b> : Merdeka RoadTrip 2014 (Part 2) ~ CiKGUHAiLMi Posted: 06 Sep 2014 07:53 PM PDT Hari ketiga kami bercuti ke Kuching, memang betul-betul jatuh pada Hari Kemerdekaan yang ke-57. Menjangkakan sambutan yang luar biasa di Kampung Budaya Sarawak, maka kami memang merancang untuk ke sana pada hari ini. Sebab tu pada hari semalam, kami banyak habiskan aktiviti bercuti nih di kawasan yang jauh dari pusat bandar. Supaya pada hari ini dapat bergerak ke Kampung Budaya Sarawak tepat pada masanya.  Hari Ahad (Day 3) Oleh sebab nak menunggu kumpulan yang lagi satu nak ke Serikin, maka kami putuskan ke Kampung Budaya pada sebelah petang, iaitu semasa persembahan diadakan pada jam 4 petang. Maka sebelah paginya, kami akan habiskan masa melawat ke tempat menarik sekitar Pusat Bandar. Sesi awal pagi macam biasa. Nasi lemak Kopi O Corner lah yang menjadi santapan awal pagi. Orang ramai macam biasa. Tapi servis memang tip top! So nak bergerak pun cergas lah sikit kan. Sebab perut dah kenyang terisi. Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara Selesai mengisi perut, maka kami pun bergerak ke bangunan Dewan Bandaraya Kuching Utara yang tersergam indah atas bukit. Tujuannya sebab nak tengok landmark tersebut dengan lebih dekat dan juga nak ke Muzium Kucing yang terletak di sana.   Muzium Kucing Sampai di sana, terus ke Kaunter Pertanyaan. Rupanya Muzium Kucing tersebut tak dibuka pada hari pelepasan awam. Salah timing ler plak. Ada lagi pelawat lain yang mundar mandir depan kawasan Muzium Kucing tersebut. Maka sebab taknak menghampakan niat nak ke sana, bergambar lah sket depan Pintu masuk Muzium Kucing.  Kemudian dari sana kami terus menuju ke dua kedai kek lapis Sarawak yang popular di Kuching. Tak lain tak bukan, Mira Cake House dan Kek Lapis Dayang Salhah. Oleh kerana lokasi kedua-duanya yang berdekatan, maka kami parking kereta di tengah-tengah, dan jalan kaki sahaja.' Mira Cake House Mira Cake House yang sinonim dengan warna merah nih memang agak menonjol atas sebab lokasinya. Ada banyak pilihan kek lapis Sarawak dengan warna dan perasa yang pelbagai. Kawasan pameran agak sesak memandangkan banyak sangat kek lapis yang nak dipamerkan. Tapi dari kawasan tersebut, anda dah boleh nampak beberapa pekerja yang sedang menyediakan kek lapis tersebut di bahagian dalam kedai.  Kek Lapis Dayang Salhah Kek Lapis Dayang Salhah nih pula berada pada kedudukan yang tersorok sket di belakang Surau. Namun bagi pengunjung setia yang dah biasa, sememangnya tak ada masalah nak cari di mana beradanya kedai tersebut. Ruang dalam untuk memilih kek lapis memang lebih selesa. Bilik beraircond. Kawasan yang besar.   Fort Margherita Selesai membeli sedikit buah tangan untuk dibawa pulang ke Sibu, kami bergerak ke Fort Margherita yang terletak berdekatan dengan kawasan kedai kek lapis Sarawak tadi. Jalan nak ke Fort Margherita nih tak berapa nak cun sangat. Dan sampai di sana, pun tak dibuka jugak. Lepas diselidik, adalah juga yang bagitau tempat ini dah lama ditutup. Atas tujuan apa tak pasti lah plak.  Fort Margherita nih sebenarnya adalah satu kubu lama yang dibina oleh Charles Brooke, Rajah Putih Sarawak. Nama Margherita nih diambil daripada nama isteri Charles Brooke sendiri, iaitu Margaret Alice Lili de Windt. Bangunan Fort Margherita ini juga cantik apabila dipandang pada waktu malam daripada Waterfront yang terletak di seberang sungai.' Dewan Undangan Negeri Kemudian kami terus bergerak ke Dewan Undangan Negeri Sarawak yang baru dan tersergam indah berdekatan dengan kawasan ini. Bentuk kubah Dewan Undangan Negeri ini memang menarik dan unik.  Sampai di pintu masuk, kami minta kebenaran daripada pengawal yang menjaga pintu masuk tersebut. Selepas dah diberi kebenaran secara bersyarat, iaitu tak boleh berhentikan kereta dan sekali pusing sahaja, maka kami pun naik ler ke atas. '  Memang cantik kawasan Dewan Undangan Negeri yang baru nih. Struktur binaan dan rekabentuknya jauh lebih menarik berbanding dewan undangan yang lama. Maka tak hairan lah sekarang Dewan Undangan Negeri ini selalu dijadikan bangunan ikon kepada Sarawak.' Rumah Hijau Cafe Selesai di Dewan Undangan Negeri, kami bergerak untuk makan tengahari. Nak makan tengahari yang paling best di Kuching, iaitu di Rumah Hijau Cafe. ' ' '  Konsep Rumah Hijau Cafe nih memang menarik. Kedai makan, tapi seperti berada dalam rumah sendiri. So memang layan lah. Kebetulan pada hari Ahad, ada disediakan menu istimewa iaitu Nasi Beriani. Maka kami pun mencuba lah menu tersebut. Memang terbaik!  Dah kenyang menjamu selera, maka kami pun bergeraklah ke Kampung Budaya Sarawak yang terletak lebih kurang 45 minit perjalanan dari Kuching. Kampung Budaya Sarawak Kampung Budaya Sarawak nih terletak di Santubong. Maka dalam perjalanan ke sana, nampak lah gunung Santubong yang popular dengan lagenda Puteri Santubong dan Puteri Sejinjang.  Dah banyak kali sebenarnya saya dah datang ke Kampung Budaya nih. Tapi dalam banyak-banyak kali tu, rasanya kali ini persembahan dia memang tip top habis! Sangat ler terhibur dengan persembahan tarian daripada 6 etnik utama yang ada di Sarawak. Ada kelainan berbanding dengan kunjungan saya yang sebelum-sebelum nih.  Bagi yang nak berkunjung ke Kampung Budaya Sarawak, pastikan anda tahu masa persembahan ini dijalankan, iaitu pada jam 11.00 pagi atau pun pada jam 4.00 petang. Timing mesti bagus. Barulah kunjungan jadi sangat bermakna dan berbaloi.  Selesai persembahan tarian di dewan utama, kami bergerak ke rumah-rumah tradisional yang ada dalam perkampungan tersebut. Dimulakan dengan Rumah Bidayuh, Rumah Iban, Rumah Penan, Rumah Orang Ulu, Rumah Melanau, Rumah Melayu dan akhir sekali Rumah Cina. Kali ini kami salah timing! Rupa-rupanya, selesai persembahan pada jam 4.45 petang tadi, bermakna tiada juga sambutan daripada penjaga rumah-rumah tradisional berkenaan. Mereka pun kerja sampai jam 5.00 petang juga. Maka banyak lah rumah-rumah yang sudah ditutup atau yang tidak ada penjaga.        Tak dapatlah nak tengok tarian sambutan di rumah-rumah tersebut, serta aktiviti yang dijalankan oleh penjaga di sana. Maka kamu hanya luangkan masa yang ada dengan bergambar dengan rumah tersebut sahaja. So lain kali kena datang pada waktu pagi jika nak merasa pengalaman paling bermakna di Kampung Budaya Sarawak. Damai Puri Selepas sejam meronda, akhirnya kami keluar dan menuju ke Damai Puri yang terletak bertentangan dengan Kampung Budaya. Ini kali pertama saya ke sini. Maknanya memang dah lama tak datang area Kampung Budaya sampaikan ada bangunan baru yang dah siap didirikan pun saya tak tahu.  Kawasan Damai Puri nih memang menarik. Penuh dengan pengunjung. Penuh juga dengan kedai-kedai cenderamata dan kedai makan. Pengunjung juga ada peluang untuk menonton matahari terbenam pada kawasan yang dah disediakan khusus. Kawasan ditandakan dengan binaan Kenyalang gergasi ala-ala tugu Helang di Langkawi.     Sunset di sini boleh tahan meriahnya. So yang belum pernah ke sini, jemput datang yer! Dari sini, kami terus pulang ke Kuching. Aktiviti malam, macam biasa. Lepak di Waterfront sambil melayan geng-geng pemuzik jalanan yang ada di sana. Pastu balik tido, dan ready untuk hari seterusnya. Hari Isnin (Day 4) Ini hari terakhir kami berada di Kuching. Hari untuk perjalanan pulang ke Sibu. Atas jemputan seorang rakan, maka kami bersarapan pada pagi ini di tempat baru yang terletak di Batu 7, iaitu Serapi Corner. Serapi Corner Ini kali pertama kunjungan saya ke Serapi Corner. Walaupun dah banyak kali ke Kuching, tapi balik-balik pegi kedai yang sama jugak. So, bersarapan pagi di Serapi Corner bersama Cikgu Ken LSC.  Memang tak rugi kami dibawa ke sini. Menu yang disediakan, memang best! Confirm lepas nih Serapi Corner akan masuk list dalam senarai kedai makan wajib pergi lepas nih. Pilihan makanan pagi yang banyak dan juga keadaan kedai yang sangat selesa. Jadi tak hairan lah kenapa kedai makan ini sentiasa dipenuhi orang ramai. Selepas sesi sarapan yang best, kemudian kami terus bergerak pulang ke Sibu. Dalam perjalanan hanya singgah di Layar untuk berhenti makan dan solat. Kami tiba di Sibu pada jam 5.00 petang. Rasa agak ok bila dimaklumkan oleh Tuan Bendahari kami, Cikgu Hafiz apabila kami hanya mengeluarkan bajet lebih kurang RM250 setiap seorang bagi semua perbelanjaan sepanjang di Kuching. Perbelanjaan adalah termasuk duit minyak kereta, penginapan, makan 4 hari 3 malam dan tiket masuk ke semua tempat yang berbayar. Sebelum ini tak pernah nak catat-catat berapa bajet yang dikeluarkan. Semoga panduan ini boleh digunakan bagi mereka yang nak merancang bercuti ke Kuching, terutamanya bagi mereka yang nak adakan Road Trip macam kami nih. Soal bajet dan keselamatan harus diutamakan. Sampai kita berjumpa lagi dalam trip yang seterusnya! |
