Proud Warriors after <b>Kuching</b>-Betong battles - The Borneo Post Online Posted: 31 Aug 2015 09:16 AM PDT September 1, 2015, Tuesday MIRI: Warrior Hockey Club did Miri proud after sterling performances in tournaments held in Betong and Kuching both from Aug 29-30. In Betong, the men's team was crowned champions after beating Rentap HC 3-1 in the final. Their player Delvin Mula also walked away with the Best Player accolade. It was the fourth trophy won by the team for this year. At the Kuching Festival tournament, the women's team failed to retain their title after losing 0-1 to Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS) in the final. Coach Rudy Naziri was nevertheless happy with their runner-up spot. The club's next stop will be the 7-a-side tournament to be held in Sabah on Sept 5.
