Well today i'm blogging about a trip to Sarawak. Just 2 weeks ago, I spent a few days in Kuching, the capital of Sarawak. Sarawak is located at the west of Malaysia, also known as the land of hornbill. It was a pretty nice place that combines both the city and kampung life.

Upon arrival, we rented a car to drive around Kuching. And luckily we did, as it was quite distance to travel from one point to another. It would definitely be hard to rely on public transport. I stayed at a beach resort located at Damai. It was quite far from the town area. Maybe a 30 mins to an hour drive.

So what can you do there? This was my impromptu itinerary when I was there.

Day 2: Matang Wildlife Centre

Day 3: Annah ris bidayuh longhouse> Annah ris hot spring> Semenggoh nature reserve > Buntal Seafood Village

I had lots of seafood when I was there. Top Spot Seafood Restaurant is one of the many seafood restaurant that you can try. It is located at Kuching city centre. The price and food was pretty reasonable. I had 2 crabs, 1 fish, 2 vegetable and it came around RM150 -ish.

The second location that I went to was the Seafood village located at Kampung Buntal, a small fishing village. There were plenty of seafood restaurant to choose from. We went to a particular one called Lim Hock Ann Seafood Restaurant. The food and place was pretty decent and nice. Food wise it was slightly cheaper than the Top Spot Seafood restaurant. I did enjoy the location as well. The whole village was situated by the sea. You could actually enjoy a cool sea breeze that totally adds on to the enjoyment of your meal. On top of that, when the tide is low you could even get down and walk on the sea bed. It was pretty interesting as there were many little crabs running around the surface as we try to take a picture of them.

Yeap and that kind of sum up my trip there.
